Welcome to Crandon Golf Key Biscayne

Crandon Golf Key Biscayne is a challenging 18-hole course located in the heart of sunny South Florida; a city filled with courses designed to tempt every level of player from weekend warrior to dedicated professional. Stretching nearly 7,400 yards from the middle tees, Crandon Golf Key Biscayne has a USGA rating of 75.4 and a slope rating of 129. Set on an island overlooking Biscayne Bay and the Miami skyline, a change in wind can add even more excitement to a round of golf so the course attracts some pretty serious players.

Walk in the steps of Senior PGA Tour members Gary Player, Ray Floyd, Lee Trevino and Chi Chi Rodriguez who teed off at this home of the Champions Tour for the past 18 years.

Considered one of the most challenging par-72 courses in the State of Florida, Crandon Golf Key Biscayne received accolades from both Golfweek and Golf Digest Magazines.  Tropical, lush and populated by a number of exotic animals, this Florida classic course is just 10 minutes from Downtown Miami and offers players a unique & secluded escape.

Wind and weather conditions on the island of Key Biscayne add interest to every round of golf at Crandon which may prove daunting to the amateur golfer. Located just south of Miami Beach and east of Miami, the course is accessible via the Rickenbacker Causeway, a toll road leading offshore from Coconut Grove eastbound off Highway 95. Key Biscayne is an exclusive community and was originally established in 1947 . It currently serves as home to star athletes, celebrities and was once the Winter White House of US President Richard M. Nixon.

Lots of Miami Restaurants to choose from

Once the sun goes down your options for dining are limitless in Miami. Here’s our quick guide to some of the top spots to dine in Miaimi

A la Folie / 516 Espanola Way / A cafe mocha, a shady sidewalk table and a freshly prepared crepe filled with summer-fresh berries and cream will make you so happy to have discovered this tiny bistro at the far end of Espanola Way where locals flock for a quiet recovery from last night’s party.

BLT Steak / 1440 Ocean Drive / Chef Laurent Tourondel has created an empire of dynamic American bistros across the country and his outpost on Ocean Drive serves a seasonally inspired breakfast menu starting at 7am. Enjoy a morning “pick me up” like a white peach bellini cocktail with sparkling prosecco followed by fresh, house-baked pastries, popovers, and scones with eggs as you like them or smoked salmon on a toasted bagel.

Maxine’s Bistro/ 1765 Collins Avenue / Great thing about October starting on a Friday? OKTOBERFEST! For ten bucks you get unlimited samples of ten beers (St. Pauli Girl, Warsteiner, Three Horses, Leffe, Magner’s) and a kraut-covered sausage sammie on a roll with fries all day long. We’ll drink to THAT!

FB Steak / 4441 Collins Avenue / While everything at the Fontainebleau Resort is over-the-top, the restaurant ambiance at FB Steak hits all the right notes. Enjoy a perfectly seared steak with someone special and see why Alfred Portale is considered one of the country’s most important chef/restaurateurs.

GrillFish / 1444 Collins Avenue / Summer makes us crave fresh fish with all the fixings and Grillfish delivers a simple, freshly-grilled local catch without the hoopla of other pricey South Beach seafood spots. For tender mahi mahi sizzled delicately on the grill or a swordfish that still tastes of the sea, this is the spot.

Osteria Del Teatro / 1443 Washington Avenue / Old-School Italian in the heart of clubland seems an odd pairing but this South Beach landmark remains one of the top-rated restaurants on the Beach. Forget the menu, order the specials from the efficient waiters and prepare to be amazed by the quiet quality of the kitchen.

Smith & Wollensky / 1 Washington Avenue / “A frosty beer, a juicy burger and thou…” If that sounds like poetry to you then head to Smith & Wollensky for a quiet weekday lunch when the atmosphere is mellow, the food is tasty and the service is as professional as you might expect anywhere else BUT South Beach.
